Fylde coast hindu society

Fylde Coast Hindu Society (FCHS) is one of the well-known community faith groups in the Fylde coast area. Over the years this group has worked with local communities in enhancing the community cohesion and integration. FCHS is actively supporting local voluntary and third sector organisations by participating in local events, such as Carnivals, cultural education in Schools and regular trans cultural Bollywood dance classes.

Our main Objective

  • Promote and maintains Social, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the Local Hindu Community.
  • Promote the community cohesion and integration to the wider community by developing.
  • understanding, education and awareness of the contribution of the Hindu community to the local health, welfare and economy.
  • Organise Spiritual, cultural and traditional folk festivals and to participate / cooperate with all faiths to foster peace and mutual respect for all mankind in the true spirit of
  • "Vasudev Kutumbhkam" : The whole world is one big family.

Service

  • Bollywood Dance Classes

    Bollywood dance has tremendous curative potential; it can improve mental and physical well-being of a person.

  • Radha Krishna Bhavan

    In partnership with Community Hub Blackpool, Fylde coast Hindu Society have established a small makeshift Temple, which is open every third Sunday of the month.

  • Volunteering Work

    FCHS believes very strongly in the principles of Indian Values of “Vasudev Kutumbhkam”, that whole world is one family.
