Fylde Coast Hindu Society was incepted 20 years back when few people from Hindu community wanted together to celebrate cultural festivities such as Diwali etc. With such a humble start in Blackpool for many years we limited our activities to cultural festivities only. Over last 7 years society felt a need for a wider cultural integration with local community. Since than we have collaborated in many local cultural and festive events such as Carnivals, participation in school Religious studies.

The society was finally registered with Charity Commission on 18th April 2016 and since than it growing from strength to strength. We have membership of over 75 families and cultural programmes are attended by many more regularly.

We run regular Bollywood Dance classes and Balvikas (Children’s cultural training Programme).
