Health Mela

A number of our members  are from the  health background and our Patron  happens to be an ex Cardiothoracic surgeon it is therefore  natural  for us to join hands with National forum for health and wellbeing which is a well-known  reputable  national organization which arranges  Health and Well-being Mela (Fair ) all over the country, FCHS helped to arrange three such events in the Fylde Coast , resulting in  health and well being  benefits to may local people

Faith forum

Blackpool Faith Forum provides an opportunity for local inter-faith dialogue and a focus for consultation with faith communities in the town. FCHS is a very active member of the Forum and members participate in its activities from time to time. We recently participated in Multi faith Peace

Fairness commission (Blackpool)

The Blackpool Fairness Commission is an independent body, established by Blackpool Council to develop and implement ways to make Blackpool a fairer place to live, work and learn.

Blackpool for Everyone ’ – where people feel connected and supported, to achieve their full potential. FCHS takes active interest and participates in appropriate activities to help meet Fair society objectives

Rasmayee Dancing Acadamy

We have long established association with Rasmayee Dance Acadamy, Together we have hold many events including some Arangataum (Bachelorship in Indian Classical Dance). One of the most exciting programme was Dancing with God in partnership with Sixth Form college.

Big Lottery Fund

In partnership with Big Lottery Fund and Sixth Form College , we celebrated a unique programme of Community cohesion and Integration to bring in the message of living together in peace. We had blessed talk from Bishop of Blackburn (Rev Julian Henderson). We had the honour of local and international dignitaries, who spoke to the mixed audience of students and local people, sharing their views on importance of community living in Peace .

Blackpool Carnival

We have long established relationship with carnivals in local area. Our members participate in performing various Indian art and cultural programme to show the rich heritage of Indian culture.

Blackpool Council

With winter hub support, Fylde Coast Hindu society runs Get together serving Warm meal to local community and run Bollywood dance classes.

Community Hub Blackpool

In partnership with Community Hub Blackpool, Fylde coast Hindu Society have got created community place for local Hindus as Radha Krishna Bhavan, where we do prayers/Arti and also run Winter Warm Hub, serving warm vegetarian meal.
